The Backstory into the World of Glypharia part 2
Out of all of the Caros fighting Vilicus, one stood out the most. Vir rose in reputation, attracting many Caros under his leadership.Vir became the hero of the Caros, a people that after centuries had become completely disparaged. They now had hope; a hope that would leap any bounds. Despite many initial losses, Vir kept battling as hard as he could. He never lost hope and the Caros that had not pledged their loyalty to Vilicus never lost faith in Vir's ability.
In a moment of insight, Vir developed a plan to steal Vilicus's research in an attempt to use it against him. The plan went unhitched, until Proditor, Vir's Lieutenant, betrayed Vir and alerted Vilicus of their plot. Vir was able to safely pull out most of his strike team, and managed one success: he stole the schematics for Vilicus' DNA manipulation device, called the Genestealer. With this, the Caros would have a chance to liberate themselves and fight back against Glyph, defeating the organization once and for all.
A majority of the Caros are now fighting under the leadership of Vir; fighting for their freedom. Who will win in this battle for Glypharia and its moons?
That's the first draft of the back story. I'll rewrite it and make it more of an interesting read when we put the website up. Names are subject to change, since I can't get a hold of NowBob right now to see if he likes the names.
Edit: Ekul is now Vilicus, latin for Villian. Sivart is now Vir, latin for Hero. Nosyt is now Proditor, latin for Betrayer. I thought Carnos meant meat/flesh, but I found out it implies cow/steer, so I changed it to Caros which implies flesh/meat.

The Backstory into the World of Glypharia
Glypharia has had a troubled past. A young man named Vilicus began experimenting on the DNA of the Caros, the people of Glypharia. No one was able to do this until Vilicus discovered a way using Glyphs. Glyphs are special stones mined from each of the five moons orbiting Glypharia, and each type of Glyph represents each moon.
In order to further his research, Vilicus founded an organization called Glyph, named after the tool used for his malicious experiments. Slowly, by expanding Glyph, Vilicus was able to gain control of Glypharia and its five moons. With his increased resources, Vilicus discovered a way to prolong his life, consolidating his control over Glypharia.
After 666 years of brutal torment and experimentation, the Caros began to fight back against Vilicus. By this time, each of the five moons had become inhabited by five specific races created by Vilicus, characteristic of the glyphs from that planet. Each race was originally a ruling faction on Glypharia, but because they didn't side with Vilicus he turned them into something new.
Edit: Added a new line at the very end.

Initial Development
NowBob and myself, RedneckNoob, have decided to start building a game called Glyph in Python. This is an experiment to learn the language.
This is all we will disclose right now.
